211 Info

211 Info is a community-based nonprofit organization funded by state and municipal contracts, foundations, United Ways, donations and community partners in Oregon and Southwest Washington. 211info empowers Oregon and Southwest Washington communities by helping people identify, navigate and connect with the local resources they need.

HOUSING GRANTS

ODOE Energy Grant

Eligible projects include renewable energy generation systems like solar or wind, and energy storage systems, electric vehicle charging stations, or microgrid technologies paired with new or existing renewable energy systems. Eligible applicants are encouraged to partner with community groups, non-profits, private businesses, and others on potential projects.

Fire Hardening Grant

If your home or business was lost or damaged in a wildfire during 2020, you may be eligible to receive
more than $6,000 in grant money for fire hardening of your home or business. Local counties and the Department of Consumer and Business Services have created a fire hardening grant program to help people affected by the 2020 wildfires. The program will provide money directly to home and business owners who receive a grant to help pay for fire hardening of a home or business that was damaged or destroyed in the 2020 wildfires.

Rogue Community Health

Rogue Community Health offers Behavioral Health services, along with a full complement of other Medical Care through personalized contact with their own Community Health Workers. Both OHP and private insurance are accepted, with an income-based sliding scale option also available.

Everbridge Citizen Alerts

Online Service Everbridge is the free, county-wide citizen alert system for computer and smartphones, giving residents immediate notice of emergencies

PulsePoint

Online Service PulsePoint Respond is a 911-connected app that can immediately inform you of emergencies occurring in your community and can request your help when CPR is needed nearby. Municipalities offering Pulse Point engagement are Jackson County Fire District #5, Medford Fire & Ashland Fire & Rescue.

Legal Services are available (including a Notary Public) and downloadable do-it-yourself kits for legal forms for many legal issues, and a host of other documents for $8 per form, or a sliding scale for those with financial hardship.

Online legal advocacy for contractor/dealer fraud issues—such as changing price on a home after a contract has been signed, or abandoning the jobsite.

Oregon Law Center

Oregon Law Center (OLC) provides free legal help to people struggling to make ends meet on matters related to their homes, livelihoods, medical care and physical safety against domestic violence.

Addictions Recovery Center (ARC)

ARC is a walk-in Clinic offering a wide range of services including Detox, Substance and Gambling Addiction Counseling, Medication, Services, and Domestic Abuse Awareness. Their services can be paid out-of-pocket though scholarships are available to individuals in need.
